Components of Self and Self-Care

Self-care refers to practices and activities that one engages in to enhance their health and well-being. This enables us to understand various aspects of healthy living and mental fitness. These aspects of life and living are then integrated into the dimensions of health, self-care, positive life and living, and positive appropriate lifestyle. This is manifested in our Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and interpreted in the Quantity and Quality of Life and Living over the Years (QUALITY).
